There was one significant discovery

I have received correction on my post from earlier today.

My statement about new leads not being productive was confusing and was not correct. I intended to refer to “new leads” coming after the very significant discovery of A payroll of Captain Daniel Griffings Company, but I failed to make that clear. We believe there is a high probability that our David did serve in New York forces, about 4-5 weeks before the July 1776 declaration of independence.

Subsequent leads, investigated after the discovery of the May 1776 payroll document, have been exhausted, without benefit.
